Description:

Geometry is the second mathematics course in high school.  The focal point of this course is implementing the Geometry process and content performance indicators.  It is expected that students will identify and justify geometric relationships, formally and informally.  This will provide a variety of ways for students to acquire and demonstrate mathematical reasoning ability when solving problems.  Students will investigate, explore, discover, conjecture, reason, argue, justify, explain, prove and apply the content of this course set by New York State.  Students will take a NYS Regents Examination at the end of this course.
